September 2020 return to school plan

Please see attached letter below from Mr Franklin regarding the plan for all year groups returning to school. Please note that Thursday 10th September 2020 no pupils will be in school as it is a preparation day for staff.

All pupils will return to school from Friday 11th September 2020. See attached letter for more information.

Unfortunately the planned parents evening for Year 7 and 11 will not be able to take place in person. Year 7 parents will be contacted by phone and Year 11 will receive a report on their son/daughter’s progress with targets for improvement at the end of this month. This will ensure parents have up to date information.

Pupils of the week 9th December

As a school we are always looking for ways to recognise the effort and achievement of our pupils. In addition to this staff will now nominate a ‘Pupil of the week’ . One pupil from Key stage 3 and one pupil from key stage 4 will receive a nomination from each department. The Progress Leader will be informed and will contact home to inform parents/carers with the good news. The pupils nominated will receive a ‘front of queue’ lunch pass for the following week.
